As at January 2018, we were at Youth Alive camp meeting at Faith Tabernacle AKA Winners chapel and it was indeed an amazing experience for all members that followed. As an independent drama team, we had to face several auditions before we could actually access ministration on the church’s podium. Prior to our ministration, we also socialized and had amazing collaborations and stage play with myriads of talented actors and actress in the great commission.
The best and most exciting part of our experience in the camp meeting was when we eventually and narrowly sailed through the thorough screenings of the judges and was given the opportunity to minister to thousands of youths through gospel stage drama.
At first, we were all abashed in the pool of shock and nervousness as it was only our first time ministering to such a huge crowd and at Cannanland! But one thing was sure, the grace of God was upon us, we felt it, we believed it and we flaunted it while we ministered. The holy-spirit was and is our Brain-box.
“The grace of God was upon T.E.E.C, we felt it, we believed it and we flaunted it. The holy-spirit is our brain box. I would want us to pause here before we continue. Please, let’s understand that we are all pencils in the hands of the creator. It is really important to be submissive to the directives of the holy-spirit. No matter what your calling or ministry is, be it singing, teaching, dancing, or … whatever it is. Be an instrument of God. It pays, really!”
It was a four-day program that rounded off with a Sunday service. But the hilarious part of our camping was at where we all lodged. We would love to share them all but the pages of this blog are not enough to contain. Should we start from the times when we were all broke and had to soak Garri and epa before leaving for morning services? (don’t fret, we did ate expensive foods at some points just before we went broke as a team) , or should we begin to explain how one of our member almost got into trouble with a solider for simply wearing a camour designer?, oh! Have I mentioned that there was a time we almost gave up the auditions and screening because the requirements for costumes were very enormous, or how we would sneak out of Cannanland at 9pm just to get wanke that tastes so good!? LOL
And a host of other occurrences that will definite make you laugh and get inspired.
But it was a massive success to the team and having to minister in one of our biggest {and the first} platform ever.
And guess what? We aren’t where we want to be but we are no longer where we used to be. All thanks to God almighty, the youths of Winners chapel, our sponsors, and every single person who made our ministration in Youth Alive a pure success for the first time, years ago.

We shall also make time to appreciate pastor Bolu. He was an inspiration to the entire crew and really helped us all through the phases. Also, We will keep remembering the good deeds of Winners youth Church at Ajala, Lagos. For their benevolence and support towards T.E.E.C during those times last year.
